Preacher

My name is Jeremy Sprouse. I have been the preacher at the Westside church of Christ since May 2007. I am originally from Kansas, but grew up largely in Eastern Colorado. My parents obeyed the gospel while living in Germany during the early 1980s. My father was a faithful member of the church right up to his death in November 2005. My mother still attends the Rocky Ford congregation where my brother preaches.

I met my wife Erynn while attending Adams State College (ASC) in Alamosa. While attending college, we were very involved in the campus ministry, and Erynn interpreted worship services for a deaf woman. In 2001, I graduated from ASC with a B.A. in English (Erynn had earned an A.A. in 2000).

After graduating, we moved to Denver to attend the Bear Valley Bible Institute of Denver. In June 2003, I graduated with a Bachelors of Theology, and Erynn graduated with a Bachelors in Bible. I am currently pursuing my Masters of Ministry through the Bear Valley Bible institute.

Since school, I have worked as an intern at the Alamosa church of Christ (Colorado) and a full time preacher at the Raton church of Christ (New Mexico). God has blessed my wife and I with three wonderful boys: a three and 1/2 year old (Jaden) and twins that are one year old (Isaiah and Isaac). In addition, we feel very blessed to be a part of the wonderful and caring group of Christians we have found in the Westside church of Christ.
