Proverbs for the Day (11:20-21)
September 9th, 2009“The perverse in heart are an abomination to the Lord, But the blameless in their walk are His delight. Assuredly, the evil man will not go unpunished, But the descendants of the righteous will be delivered” (Proverbs 11:20-21 NASU). It often seems those who advanced in life by cheating and manipulating others get rewarded. Sometimes lying and stealing seem to be the way to get what we want. We need to put our trust in the justice of God. God’s delight is in those who do right and everything will be put right. We need to keep on the course of righteousness realizing that it is the best and most rewarding life.
