A Proverb for the Day (11:18)
July 8th, 2009“The wicked earns deceptive wages, But he who sows righteousness gets a true reward” (Proverbs 11:18 NASU). Earthly things are deceptive; they do not bring happiness and joy. The many who work for nice things and luxuries will only reap momentary pleasures at best. The true reward is found in the work of the righteous. It is only our service to God that will have an eternal reward and lasting value.
