Proverbs for the Day (11:5-6)
April 30th, 2009“The righteousness of the blameless will smooth his way, But the wicked will fall by his own wickedness. The righteousness of the upright will deliver them, But the treacherous will be caught by their own greed” (Proverbs 11:5-6 NASU). It is those who do what is right that are blameless. They deal with others fairly, justly, and lovingly. As a result, they do not have as much strife in their life and have more peace so their way is smoother. Those who are wicked mistreat others causing complaints, strife, wars, and feuds. By their own actions and unrighteous desires, the wicked make their lives harder and bring about their own downfall.
