A Proverb for the Day 10:24
March 7th, 2009“What the wicked fears will come upon him, But the desire of the righteous will be granted” (Proverb 10:24 NASU). The wicked fear being discovered. They have secret and hidden parts of their lives they do not want others to know about. They fear having to answer and take responsibility for what they have done. They will have to take responsibility, however, if not in this life then on the Day of Judgment. Do you want to live in dread? Do you want to fear people finding out who you truly are? If no, you want to walk the path of righteousness. The righteous desire godly living, wisdom, heaven, and service in God’s kingdom. All these will be granted (cf. Matthew 6:33).
