A Proverb for the Day 10:18
February 25th, 2009“He who conceals hatred has lying lips, And he who spreads slander is a fool” (Proverbs 10:18 NASU). Here are two reactions to hating another and both are wrong! First, you can conceal it—this leads you to lie. It is unavoidable. The one who conceals hatred talks like a friend but is not. Even concealed hatred is wrong. Second, you can speak it—this leads to even more animosity and usually is returned upon your head. So what is the solution? The wise course of action is to rid ourselves of hatred and animosity towards others.
